Choosing a miniature Highland cow: heifer, steer, or bull calf?

The shop lists female heifers and cows, male steers, and male bull calves — all 6 months old, expected 36–40 inches at maturity, halter-trained, social with kids and animals, and vet-checked, vaccinated and dewormed.

The right choice depends on what you want the animal for: a family companion, a small-farm animal, or a breeding programme. Compare each animal’s own page — its photos, sex, and price ($1,500–$2,000) — rather than choosing on name alone, and note that the two Graysons and two Owens are separate listings, so check the price on the page you are looking at.

All are available for pickup or delivery, with a $300 fully refundable deposit credited toward the price.
