What does halter-trained mean, and why does it matter for a first miniature cow?

Every animal listed at Harry Miniature Cattles is described as halter-trained, friendly, and social with kids and animals. In practice, halter training means the animal is used to being led and handled, which makes everyday routines — moving it, checking it over, and introducing it to a new home — calmer for a first-time owner than starting with an unhandled animal.

It does not remove the need for patience, consistent handling, and a suitable setup at home.

All 14 animals are 6 months old, expected 36–40 inches at maturity, vet-checked, vaccinated and dewormed, priced $1,500–$2,000, and available for pickup or delivery with a $300 fully refundable deposit credited toward the price.
